Rather than to spend 165 euros ! keep your money and enjoy this original LP recorded as an « library » funky set. You can consider this as an RKM production (Roland Kluger Music), a belgian record company…Featuring original members from « El Chicles », Sluzny and Ralph Benatar, and produced by Roland Kluger too ; this LP delivers a « fistful » of breaks, basslines & heavy groovy sounds from 1974. Once again, a must for every funkymen & funkywomen…Fortunately, this record was given to me for years, and until now I was unaware of his interest ! But ask to Spacedebris or Whoops, i’m sure, they have more informations about. So, now this is for you, enjoy…

Ho yes, this is a rare one that you don't see quite often, the fact is that i've never ever seen a copy.
This is more or less the Chinese Fighters LP with alternate track titles ("Warning" is named "Black belt" on the Chinese Fighters lp, "kunky people" is named "Kung Fu'nky...etc) "Do what you wanna do" was named "Tonight's the night when it was done under their S.S.O. pseudonym.
Curious this RKM/El Chicles obsession with the Kung Fu...The Sumo's, The Chinese Fighters, Yamasuki, this was pure exploitation. Belgium was really a funky country during the seventies !

Thanks a lot for this LP...the famous "kung Fu fighting" is a hit of easy listening that i knew. But it's very interesting to listen to the whole album...

bon là je parle en français pour (mieux...) me faire comprendre , je suis tombé sur un post sur space debris avec l'album THE CHINESE FIGHTERS LP KUNG FU FIGHTING 1975....au debut je croyais que c t du leech de votre post mais la couv et les titres sont différents...
Si vous aviez un eclaircissement?
moi je vais attendre une heure pour voir ça...(rapidshare)

OUIAS - bien joué, numero six !

I think Whoops said it all - judging from the info (tracktitles, label, etc) this looks like the Kung Fu Fighters LP but released on a French label (assuming Vega is French) or maybe KFF is a reissue of this album, considering it's from a year later ?
Who can tell ? El Chicles, The Kung Fu Fighters, Lord Funk, Chicken Curry, even Les Chakachas... It's a nightmare to unravel the connections or establish a discography.

I haven't listened to the LP yet but will do so as soon as I downloaded it and let you know should I hear something else.

Just got myself a rapidshare premium account, btw. I'm in download heaven :)

I can't fix the jpg image, i suppose it came from sending the jpg with Blogger.com (i've a lot of problem with it). It's alway a "horror" to send a picture !
But it's the first time that happened with this result. Dont worry, artwork, front and back covers + labels
are always included with the 192 Kbps rip...

Désolé pour cette réponse sans doute tardive (anciens posts). Mais normalement ça doit fonctionner. Ca m'a déjà fait aussi le coup au boulot (1 Ko seulement!)...Faut réessayer plus tard, réinitialiser et/ou supprimer les cookies de l'ordinateur...
